I was in Iowa last week and I planted two letterboxes! The first one
is The Star Trek Letterbox.
It is in Riverside, IA which is the future birthplace of Captain
James T. Kirk (there is the Star Trek Connection). You can learn

This is a "drive-by" letterbox.
When you drive into Riverside, You will see the Railroad Park.
(across the street from the Space Shuttle)
Standing at the Space Shuttle, take a heading of 120 degrees. Go
across the street to the Railroad park and 3 large fir trees. The
letterbox is underneath the fir trees under a cairn of stones.
